Actor Suriya To Fans : Whatever Happens, Let’s Be At Peace Cinema News
Suriya got philosophical at the meet-the-press event held in connection with the release in theatres today of his Thaana Serndha Koottam ahead of Pongal on Sunday.
“I got to learn quite a lot of things during the film’s making. Without sounding clichéd, I’d like to say that Thaana Serndha Koottam would surely be very different from the films in which I have starred so far in my career. Anirudh Ravichander’s music has already become a huge hit and has helped a lot in reaching the film across all sections of the audiences.
“I could feel the immense expectations about the film among the audiences during my tour of South India including Kerala. Working with Vignesh Shivan was a very refreshing experience. I’m being told that I look ‘fresh’ in the film and the credit should go to Shivan. He also fulfilled my long-standing desire of drinking tea at a roadside tea-stall when we shot in Perumbakkam off Chennai for the film,” he said.
“I started off as an employee with a firm for a monthly salary of Rs.700 and have risen to this position today by sheer hard-work; I’m an example of the fact that anybody can achieve anything in life with hard-work and sincerity,” he told his fans and as a ‘punch-line’, added while concluding that his fans should maintain their ‘calm and peace’ irrespective of whatever happened around them.
