Filmmaker Suseenthiran Apologises To His Heroine Due To This Bold Move Cinema News
Filmmaker Suseenthiran's Nenjil Thunivirunthal, was released on November 10 to mixed reviews, especially due to the extensive runtime and needless romance sequences. Bankrolled by Annai Film Factories, the film feature Sundeep Kishan, Soori, Vikranth and Harish Uthaman in important roles among others, with Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead.
Due to all the negative feedback, the makers of the film took a bold move and has trimmed of 20 minutes from the film, made a few changes in the intermission and the climax scenes, and have chopped off all the Mehreen Pirzada's romance scenes. Suseenthiran took it to his Twitter space to officially confirm this through a statement.
In it, he also publicly apologised to the herionie and stated that he had to do so for the film's betterment. Since the director had already censored the trimmed version, the producers have sent the new version to theaters yesterday, and are hoping that it will be accepted by the public.
